This year, Linge would have turned 100 years old, this will be celebrated with a number of events around the country under the auspices of the Norwegian Maritime Museum under the slogan ”Linge in 100”
This year is also 50 years since Soling became an Olympic class in 1972.
Linge Memorial is celebrated and marked with a joint Norwegian Championship for Soling and Yngling and in addition, the Soling Scandinavian Open is arranged.

The Royal Norwegian Yacht Club is arranging the Norwegian Championships in Soling and Yngling in the Bunnefjord with a practice race on Friday 19 and the National Championships on Saturday 20 and 21 August.
